AI Committee

The AI Committee guides and supports the awareness, understanding, and ethical use and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in the services, collections, and operations of the George A. Smathers Libraries. The working group may serve as an advisory body regarding the implementation and impact of AI technologies on Libraries’ policies and practices and on our campus community, including library employees and the users we serve. The committee aims to position the Libraries as leaders in the adoption and support of AI technologies in academic libraries, ensuring alignment with the university’s research-intensive mission.
